Those sheaths are gorgeous Fritz! I love the first one, the folder. Is that a magnet as the snap? Do you just do this as a hobby or commercially?

I was stationed in Germany from 1973 to 1976 in Frankfurt, Augsburg & Stuttgart. Where are you?

Hi Ron,

thanks to your kind words !

yes it is a magnet as the snap and the sheath is made of sharkskin.
I think that was one of the best folder I got to make a sheath for !
The knife was made by Egon Trompeter/Germany and scrimshaw comes from Richard "Ritchi" Maier.

To get some impressions of my leatherwork please visit my website:
www.messerscheiden.de you`ll find a lot of photos there !

I`m living in Bavaria near Bayreuth and do my leatherwork more than 25 years
first as a hobby and now commercially.

kindest regards from Germany,

Fritz
