Thanks. I still have a long way to go. I used an awl for the holes on the smaller sheath. On the Bowie sheath I used an awl and used a finishing nail in my drill press for the sheath proper stitching.As usual your work is great. You must of punch the holes for threading. I have just hosed up my first sheath. Some day mine will be as nice as yours!!
Finishing nails are small nails with very small heads. They are usually used for "final touches" such as molding or trim. They usually are sunken into the surface and leave a small hole that can be filled in with putty and painted over for a smooth finish and invisible nail and nail hole.Op, what is a finishing nail?
