Asian water buffalo hide splitted down to 2.8 mm is still tough and sturdy enough to accommodate the steel package of the clip and the size of the handle.
To prevent heavy rusting underneath the leather the inner part of the clip is a 6AL4V -Titanium stripe pinned to the carbon steel upper part.
It is for users who prefer one of the ancient ways of carrying a knife, just simply slide it behind the belt.
When permanently used, carried in front of the left hip (for right handed), when not needed or under other circumstances necessary it can be placed behind the right hip, no need to open the belt.
