Setting Eyelets?

Will a drill press work for pressing the eyelets on a kydex sheath? I don't have an arbor press (yet) but I thought I could put the die in the chuck and then put the bottom die in a jig. Will this work? It's a 12" Craftsman drill press.

It will work just fine. You will need to make a holder forthe bottom die.
