Scale Pattern Sheath

Is there a reason you make it square bottomed OP. How is the security against "push through" without a shaped welt to help the shape at the front of the handle arrest insertion.

I like the way a square sheath looks. The handle swell is not very pronounced in this photo but there is the beginning of one. It’s more refined now after I dampened the sheath in that area let it form over night with some spring clamp pressure.
