This one had some firsts for me and I hope I nailed it to the customer's liking. With his design input and several revisions we came up with the 7" spear point S30V hog hunter he was wanting.

7" .200 thick S30V blade, 59 Rockwell C, 15 micron finish.
3" sharpened spear point and 3" of double-set saw teeth.
Custom blade etch, 304 stainless fittings, black linen micarta handle scales.
Left hand horizontal Kydex sheath with double thick leather retainer paddle, 1/8" 5052 aluminum welt, industrial cement secured plus chrome plated binding posts.

Very nice hog knife like the S30 and micarta and saw is nice touch. Is this for live stabbing (pig sticker)?
 
I am assuming it's likely to be used as a dispatch knife. He requested it to use for hog hunting and with that blade design it's going to penetrate very well. I'll hit him up later on for a field review on it, I'm getting pretty fond of the S30V after working with it so much this last few months.
 
If it that blade dosnt cut the hog it will surely scare it to death. I like it a lot. That seems like a big knife for horizontal carry, but I am sure it will work.
