I know that this belongs in the sheath forums, however I am seeking input from members who have experience with a Hatchet/Ax and by only posting in the sheath forum it will seriously limit the advice I am seeking as I doubt that some of the members of this forum look at the sheath forum.
I understand if it has to be moved, I am hoping that it doesn't though.

I have had this design rattling around in my head for awhile but did not have a hatchet to try it on.
I received the Jens Anso Ax about a week ago with free rein to build a retention system that could be carried via Tek Lok or Molle Lok's.
The sheath has Level II retention, deploys quickly and can be carried reliably with the lock disengaged.
I would welcome any input or questions from any of you that have experience carrying
a hatchet.

Thanks Much in advance.

Nice work.

Personally, I would prefer a bottom opening sheath for a tomahawk or hatchet as it would provide quicker access.

Dusty One:
Thanks Much for your kind words.
Murph:
I will be working on a design to do just that at a later date.
Did you find the screws you were looking for ?
