I just finished up this hawk tonight. This is the first full tang hawk I have done, and I am very pleased with how it came out.
I did a wip on it if you are interested in seeing the process...http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1087103-Full-tang-axes-and-hawk-WIP
I have to give credit to Daniel Winkler for the bungee retention idea on the sheath, it is a simple but very functional way of locking the hawk in place.
The Steel is 4140, with an OAL of 11", a head length of 5 1/4", and a cutting edge that is 2 7/8" long.
Let me know what you guys think.

Solid and beefy! No doubt some serious momentum once you start swinging. :) Looks great!
