Does this diagram look right?

Also what size wire do I use to hook everything up? can I use regular auto wiring to hook up the pid to the ssr or do i need a heavy solid wire?

And how do I hook the high temp wire to the element?

I am on my way to menards right now, If anyone could chime in on size and style of wiring I need for inside the box that would be really appreciated.

You mean the size wire for the element?

I developed all of my wiring specs from here- http://www.duralite.com/store/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=108 -you need to know the rating of the circuit you are plugging into and go from there. I used a 1750 watt element and 12 ga. wire leads. I connected the leads to the element by crimping the end of each into lengths of 3/16" ss tubing. Don't forget to use ceramic insulators or something where the wires penetrate the body of the oven.
Just to qualify myself, my 110 volt oven has been in operation for a year and runs at 1950 F. with no issues.

No, I have high temp wire for the element, I meant inside the control box for connecting the pid to the SSR but I figured it out after getting some help!!

It all depends on amperage. Wire is rated by amperage. Check to see what the AMP output is on your SSR and then you can look at the wiring chat where you get your wire to know whick gauge to get. Your Thermocouple must have thermocouple wiring. My even heat has type K which is red and yellow.
