Hello All,
a crazy Oregon knife nut checking in to say "Hello" and join your group of great blade lovers. I've been bouncing around checking out different things online lately, came across this site, poked around and watched for a while. Decided this looks like a group I'd like to be a part of.
I'm a single Dad up here in B.F.E. in the back woods of Oregon. I've been collecting knives for a while and I focus mostly on Dalton's, Microtech's, Protech's, Pirahna's; basicly all the "A" listers. I am starting to move my collection around, sell off some to buy others later and some to get together some cash for right now. Turns out it's pretty expensive to raise two girls by yourself with no outside income when disabled and unable to work. *LOL*
Anyhow, it's great to be here and hope to make some freinds along the way.

Chip welcome to Knife Dogs. If you get a chance post some pics of your collection and it sounds like you have your hands full.
 
Welcome Chip this is a great place nice folks and all around positive experience. There is a knife show in Eugene maybe I'll see you.

Hello all,
Thanks to everyone stopping by to say Hi. Actually, where I call "B.F.E." isn't that far off of I-5. I'm just quite a distance from any real city. I am in between Medford and Eugene. The nearest town is down the hill 15 minutes and it only has about 2,000 people. ( Myrtle Creek ) Roseburg which is about 45 minutes away, has around 25 to 30 thousand people. My nearest neighbors are a quarter mile on either side of me. I love it 98 percent of the time, but sometimes (like when the big blade show is coming up 2 & 1/2 hrs. down the road) it can be a pain. If I had a vehicle it wouldn't be that bad, but that is not the case at the moment.
Anyhow, I've been checking out other sites and posting knives, but I think this is the place I'll be calling home. I'm sure I'll chat with most of you at some point in the future. Thanks again for the welcome, and I will try to get some pic's up soon and also make sure I post my For Sale's here. ~ ~Chip
