Well I finally finished moving my equipment into the new shop space and finished cleaning the old shop space. The space worked at the time but the new space is better.
Here is a pic of the old space.
And now the new space.
I partitioned the room to make a separate grinding room. Here's what's in it.
2 spark buckets. I just switch the elbow on the vacuum to the bucket under the grinder I am using.
Outside the grinding room is the main shop space. I have my main work bench.
To the left my 1974 Craftsman lathe
To the left of that are my drill presses.
Along the back wall are my 2 out of 3 bandsaws. I have a 16 speed 1960's Powermatic in the garage that will make it's way downstairs when the snow melts. It will go in the middle of the other 2.
Paragon heat treating oven and tempering oven.
View from the grinding room, you can see the old shop space. I also have to frame-in and hang the door on the left.
Now back to making knives.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck
