Howdy from central Alberta, Canada, everyone. Enjoying the site a lot. Slip joint and liner locks are where my main focus is , most of the time. Starting on spring assisted flipper/ liner locks as a new challenge. Looking forward to chatting with everyone, getting some questions answered and maybe answering some questions myself.

Welcome. A lot of knowledge on these forums. Central Alberta (Brrrrr-LOL). I spent time in southern Alberta when I was younger and loved it there. I took my wife to visit old friends/family in August a few years ago and she said "How come you didn't stay in this beautiful place" after she saw a cow moose munching grain in a friends field. I replied that January is a different story than August. The last christmas eve. I was there it was 40 below (farenheit, sorry) with an 80 below wind chill. The RCMP showed up at our company party and wouldn't let anyone leave without an escort or ride home from them (small town-cattle-wheat-oil-thermo electric research>me) Then an other time a 100 degree swing (farenhiet again...sorry) from 60 above (Chinook winds from the coast) to 40 below overnight!
You're a tough lot up there.................Luck to you with your spring assist endeavor.
