I am new to this forum and look forward to a long relationship with it. I am a knife maker as well as a collector of Case and Schatt & Morgans. We have a group that gets together every Wed. and talk, buy and trade knives. I wast to thank Tracy for helping me with problems logging in. Gerry Smith
 
Welcome aboard Gerry. I'm in north Tennessee so we might be close enough to visit sometime. How close are you the John C. Campbell Folk School? There will be a dedication of the new blacksmith shop and a joint meeting of the North Carolina Area ABANA Affiliate and the Appalichan AreaChapter Blacksmith Association there on the first weekend in November. After the meeting and demonstration there will be lunch and then the Blacksmiths' Auction. Come on over,,,,and all you other Dogs.

Check out www.folkschool.org. It is in Brasstown, near Murphy, extreme west North Carolina. I'll just bet that you will get a chance to get a good knife, or something else you did not know you wanted. If nothing else a good time.
