Howdy all. I just got off the phone with the top dogs at.. KnifeDogs.com... and they got me squared away. So, thank you for that.

New guy from Texas that is a hobby maker. Hoping to learn a bit. Thank you for having me.
 
You can learn alot from the bladesmiths on this site. I have. I don't forge myself, I restore and repair vintage knives & cutlery and use others' blade blanks to get what I want for myself and friends/family.
There's a good bunch of folks here with a ton of knowledge to share.

I see you said you were from Texas, you might put that in your profile so we don't forget. My memory isn't very long these days {g}
