Thought I would check out this forum, looks like a great place and great information!

I'm a lifelong knife lover and a new bladesmith, I started out two years ago with stock removal and after making a few knives I attended the ABS 'Intro" course at Haywood CC in Clyde NC.

Love forging, bow building, hunting and fly fishing.

Josh, nice to here from you, I read a thread about a anvil! Forging is great fun!

I have a small caper I will post soon! Any wire inlay projects lately?

Hey Steve,

I actually had the blade for my next wire project done but a delamination has put the project on hold for awhile.

Otherwise I just finished one up and got a dagger blade Heat treated today so I've been busy just no wire yet :)

I am looking forward to forging but it's gonna be awhile yet. I still have to build a forge etc. etc. etc.

Welcome, I'm about an hour north of B-more. Good to see some dawgs from the Old Kennel State!
