Last weekend I spent my time re-welding the rebar onto this. Right now it is about 1.25sq and about 3"long. It's is my first attempt at something like this. Will the pattern hold if I forge it down and turn the top into the side or would I be better off if I cut it in half and weld it back together then forge it down??
Side note: The new dies and spring on my 25lb'er works great. The flat dies do create there own problems. They slap the work pc. With hot flux on the billet it could come back at you. YEP!!!!
Welding coat in order before next weld. One of the guys at work is lending me a stick welder. I can give it a try before buying one. That was nice of him.
