My first successful period sheath

Looks good for your first one, although a rather unorthodox source of material.I would suggest that if you are going to do any more you switch to deer rawhide as its much easier to work than cow.Moscow Hide and Fur is a good source and smaller pieces of rawhide can be had at a reasonable price.Also I would look at getting John Cohea's video on Rawhide Sheathmaking, it's super and John is one of the best in that genre.Dave
