Major Score!

This was being thrown out at work the other day and I asked for it to be thrown my way. 2thumbs

But, I can not get it to work. It dents the material but does not give a reading. Does anyone have a manual for a Clark MDT-8

Are you sure it reads in hrc scale?
It would probably have a diamond indenter also for hrc scale.
That will be quite a find if you get it going. Good luck.

Shank, it only has one indenter and it is HRc. It has the capability to do superficial as well as all of the other Rockwells, but HRc is all I would need.

I can get a manual from Clark for $25 and try to find out what is wrong with it. They also sell parts for it.
