Made me a knife vise and hand sanding fixture

We had to come in on the weekend and plow snow the other day at work so i had some comp time built up and work was slow the last few days so spent a little time at work making me a few things to hopefully make my life easier if I ever have time again to work on knives :).

The Binford KV1000

I made the base so I can put it in the vise, bolt it to the work bench or clamp it to my grinder cart and work outside if needed.

The Binford HSF1000

I'm probably going to put something else on the HSF1000 besides the wood but that's all we had laying around the shop, it could also be a little bigger but that's all the scrap metal I could find it should work for most the knives I make.

Any comments are welcome, and yes my welds look like hammered dog crap but they will hold :) we need a new welding mask it's like welding blind.

Looks great and if you're anything like me, you will use the crap out of it! Someday, when I grow up, maybe I won't have to do so much hand sanding.

Looks good, how about the snow plow, is that a company truck or are you out making shop money with that?
