This my first lined sheath. Wicket and Craig with a lining of unknown leather, it was a sample just big enough to line the sheath.

The fit is snug smooth soft and secure. I like it.

I followed Paul Longs video "Basic Pouch Sheaths" method. I've watched this video over and over, lots of info.

Real quick,
Thin stretchy leather liner
Stitch the top
Contact cement both sides , but don't let it dry.
Stretch liner over sheath
After dry skive liner back where it meets welt

Thanks for you interest

That turned out really well!:35:

How are you doing the roll at the top of the sheath? Is is glued down as I don't see any stitches in it!:les:

So as asked any tips on the do's and don'ts?????

Try it Mikey it's pretty easy

The top is stitched and glued.
Put the two pieces finish sides facing each other, glue just the edge at the top to keep them together and be careful not to get glue where it will be seen.
Stitch across the top then flip the lining over the top creating the roll and glue the inside as above. You have to stretch the leather aggressively to get it to conform.
Hope this makes sense, it's a lot easier than my description.
