large kydex order

If I were looking to buy a fairly large number of good but reasonably priced Kydex sheaths, say 50-100 units, who would I need to talk to?

Sounds like you've got an interesting project going Joe. Hopefully someone else will chime in but I remember seeing Kydex in 4'x8' sheets somewhere which I would think would be sold at a discount over buying sqft sized pieces.

I'd start local and work from there. K Johnson seems to know what he's doing, he may be able to put you onto someone else. It's a start.
