Kodiak Bowie

I made this knife for a custom order. It was modeled after an authentic Confederate D-Guard Bowie but he didn't want the D-Guard.

It is another huge Bowie at 15" long with a 10 1/4" x 3" x 1/4" blade of antiqued 440C stainless. This monster weighs in at almost 3 lb.

He wanted a rustic look so I textured the blade and antiqued the brass. We finished it off with Sambar stag handles with brass liners.
