Newest knife , drop point , 1095 , 5'' long , 1.25'' w ,bolsters 416 stainless as well as the pins . Handle is Box Elder and overall is 9.5''.IMG_3087.jpgIMG_3088.jpgIMG_3092.jpgIMG_3093.jpgLooking for some input.

Looks good, like everything about it except would have rounded the corners on the handle wood some more if were me.

Fred, Hoe are you doing?
Great looking knife, as mentioned I would oval the handle and bolster more. Its a bit too blocky and looks like it would give hot spots from those corners after a hour or so of use. Wrap the blade up in tape and take the platen out of your ginding for some slack belt contouring of the handle.

I think this is one of your first? So overall, you are doing excellent with the dovetailed bolsters and your blade profile and grinds. Clip point is more a accurate description but no biggie there.

Keep them coming and you are welcome to call me anytime I will help if I can.

I really like what you did with an inch and a quarter. really nice work and the handle has a nice semi tactical yet collector look to it. I would round the handle off a little bit. make it more user friendly.
