Sold: KMG Grinder for Sale-Like New, Variable Speed, 3HP, Belts Included

Hello,

I hope it's cool for a new member to start off with a for sale post, I figured this would be the place to find people who were interested in buying a belt grinder.

I bought this a couple years ago when I was getting really into knife making and then had to move shortly after. I never really got a good shop space again after that so I am going to see if it will sell for enough that it is not worth me hanging onto. I'm asking $2299.00 or Best Offer.

It has less than 100 hours of run time on it, probably less than 50.

It is set up for direct drive with a 3HP, Leeson TEFC motor connected to the grinder by a Lovejoy coupling (it would be pretty easy to switch to pulleys) controlled by a KBAC 29d VFD, I've got about a 30 foot cord on the VFD with a plug that will fit into a standard dryer outlet but that is also pretty easy to change. I am including the 10" contact wheel and a whole pile of belts-50 Grit Blaze ceramic, Trizact Gator etc.

I would prefer local pickup from Savage Minnesota (Twin Cities southern suburb) and would be open to driving a ways to meet someone if the price is right but I know that isn't an option for everyone. There are lots of other shippers out there besides the big household names, you can always look at something like Uship.com or google "LTL Shippers" to find Less than Load trucking companies who work with people who don't have an entire semi trailer worth of stuff to move. I'm estimating the weight on all of this at 200 lbs.
