Just a Bowie

This one is a recent Bowie that I made and had engraved by Wille B. Infamous of Seattle WA. The blade is a 270 layer Damascus, kind of a random ladder pattern. Fittings are all steel. Handle material is stabilized giraffe bone. This is a frame handle Bowie. The frame is made from a 99 layer W's pattern. Steel composition for the Damascus is 1095 & 15n20. Nothing fancy, just something I'm steering towards in my knifemaking.

Mr. Roeder
That is an absolutely lovely knife that has been well constructed. Possibly not "fancy" but definitely a very nice knife.

Thanks ! Well someday when I learn how to make a real knife I will try and do something fancier. This was a fun knife to make, and probably will make another frame handle knife someday. But as for now, this poor boy is gonna buy a new file. That might help :)
