Is this rare or just old?

I bought this knife in 2012 or 13, can't find a matching image anywhere with the three holes and the black blade... It's like it doesn't even exist? Only one I found was The large print Kershaw on handle that is similar

Appears to be a Kershaw Scallion assisted opening. Polyamide handle tells me it's an early one as the later ones had aluminum handles.
They were introduced in 2001 at the S.H.O.T. show.
If not a scallion, one of the "Fresh Onion" series put out by Kershaw back then. I believe it's a scallion though.

Glad to be of help. I have a different model Kershaw assisted open knife and it's usually with me if I'm out of the house. Very handy to open with one hand when the other one is busy.
