I’m Aliiiiiiiiive!

Kevin Zito

KNIFE MAKER
Month of May:
Sinus infection
Pink eye (both eyes)
Old fashioned summer time cold
Poison ivy
And finished it off with a stomach virus.

Really the worst part is that all 5 members of my household had all of these too (not poison ivy and sinus infection). But we alive and ready to make knives. Good to be back!

Dang! yours was worse than mine, 2 ER trips, 1 at the beginning of the month for my back, and one last night after the Mrs. had an allergic reaction and her Epi-Pen didn't touch it. something about doing 80MPH in a diesel truck in town is thrilling

Glad this month is over! Here's to a Healthy and Productive June for you!

Our health is one of our most valued assets and when it goes bad it can take a bit to get back on top so glad to hear you are there again.

Thanks guys! Yeah the type 1 diabetes really makes me a germ magnet, and the three babies are like incubators lol. But.... June will be awesome! Heck I even did a little filing and grinding today. Gotta take it slow, though, as I live on the surface of the sun aka south Louisiana lol. Thanks for the well wishes! Oh and Jon I hope the mrs is better. That can be scary.

Kevin glad to see you up and about, being sick just plain sucks!! A doctor once told me that when he was training to be a doctor, he had a rotation in Pediatrics. Those little ones are walking petri dishes. I stayed sick the entire rotation. I decided then and there I did not want to go into Pediatrics!!

I’ve been suffering with plantar fasciitis that will not go awy

I have had that, and they had to put shots in the bottom of my foot to get the swelling down. Even though they deaden the area, you still feel it. The doctor on the second visit! I could pull the needle back out and give it too you in the surrounding area! However this would hurt more than me pulling back at the needle and angling it back in to get to the surrounding area. www.m.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/tc/plantar-fasciitis-topic-overviewradiopaedia.org/articles/plantar-fasciitis

The last time I had it done, I wanted to punch the doctor and he knew it too. He goes, "I am sorry I know this hurts and I know you are still able to kick me with the other foot". I laughed and told him you must be reading my mind.
You do have to stay off the foot as much as possible and he told me never go barefooted as that is one of the easiest ways to get plantar Fasciitis. I have always worked on my feet but never have had good arches. Back when I worked construction I bought some of the best boots made. For being able to stand on my feet it was work it!!
