For sale is this hunter in ATS-34 with a Scotchbrite finish on the flats and bevels. The handle is stabilized curly maple with double bolsters of black paper Micarta. The handle was sealed with multiple applications of Formby's Tung Oil until the grain was filled, sanded back to 1000 grit so it has a satin finish with nice chatoyance in the maple. The pins are 1/8" black Micarta in the bolsters and brown 1/8" G10 in the wood, with a 1/4" nickel-silver lanyard hole. The sheath is tooled vegetable tanned leather.
Steel: 1/8" Hitachi ATS-34, full flat grind, TKS heat treat w/cryo
Handle: Stabilized curly maple, Garolite/Micarta pins and 1/4" nickel-silver lanyard hole
