Hey Guys!

I am making my own cool Pattern in Mosaic pin for my knife handles. I have the tubing & inside parts for my Mosaic tube.

What I need help with is what kind of a Black epoxy works best? And do I need a Vacuum pump? or whats the best way to get a uniform amount in the tube??

Any help from guys with experience with this will be really appreciated!

Thanks
Laurence

I use a Large syringe from a farm and feed store, to "pull" the epoxy into the pin. I put a short piece of rubber hose to connect the the pin and the syringe.
I personally use the West systems G/flex epoxy. I mix up my epoxy in a small cup, and suck up the epoxy through the mosaic pin. once the epoxy comes up into the small piece of hose I pull the syringe off and leave the rubber hose full of epoxy so it will fill any voids as it settles. you can cap off the other end with some clay or tape, until it dries.
