Hello to all the knifers on here. I made my first knife when I was 12. out of one of those big old pizza cutters. actually made two knives. on my dad's grinder. yup, used it to cut the cutter in half, and ground 'em into shape. and, yup, I got my butt whooped for it. but I cought the bug. Heheh. recently, I constructed a venturi propane forge as a final for the welding class i took at the community college over in reedley, ca. I'm in sanger, btw. a bit s.e. of fresno. anyway, just wanted to say hi, and I've learned a heap just lurkin around on here. I look forward to the day I can post pics of something Ive made with my own hands, and until then, thankyou all for the sharing of knowledge that goes on on this board. It's AWSOME.

P.S.- I gotta say, I've become a HUGE fan of Mr. Bump's work. If ever there were a knifesmith to emulate.... he's it.2thumbs
