Hi everyone! I am also new to knife making, though I have been playing around with repair and making handles since I was a kid. I started getting really interested in the process about 6 months ago while browsing videos on youtube. I am currently working with a small brake drum forge and a 1x30 grinder from Harbor Freight so I haven't gone too complicated in my designs yet. I want to get the basics down so I can get a good, functional knife made. Thanks for allowing me to join the community and I am sure I will learn a lot!
