Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum so I thought I would introduce myself. I'm not really a knife maker. (Although bladesmith Josh Mosier of Spring Creek Knife Works is trying his best to corrupt me)
I work with Josh and one day he invited me out to his shop to watch him hammer some damascus out.
Well needless to say several hours later i was having a grand time heating metal and running the little giant power hammer.
After a few more visits I convinced Josh to help me build a forge (which I haven't finished lining yet) and here I am.
I really like some of the blacksmithing Josh's dad does but you never know... I might try a knife from scratch in the future.... 2thumbs.
I have already learned a great deal from Josh, visiting the AG Russell show and just talking with other makers.
I hope to talk to some of you in the future.
