I just had this idea today and thought I would share. All I do is hollow grind. I primarily use a 2", 5" and 8" wheels. I made a sanding block for my 8" wheel for micarta and the radius is pretty close. Works really well. But, I had an idea for the 2" and 5" grinds. A 1 1/2" PVC coupling and a 4" PVC coupling have a 2" and 5" outer diameter respectively, and they are pretty round and hard. I'm picked up some at Home Depot today. I'm going to cut a section about 3-4" long and try them out as sanding blocks. They were cheap too. I'll let you guys know how irt works out.
