guard clamp

I've been making knives now for 17 years. In that time I have never used any aid to help with my guards. Now that I've got this guard clamp I'll never go back.

I forged out this last week. It's a 5 1/8" skinner for a local client. Heat treated it and hand finished today. I made the guard and now am just waiting for the JB Weld to set. Tomorrow will be a busy day. Well, this week is swamped. At the moment I am incredibly blessed with orders. I pray that this continues and I also can continue to provide for my family doing what I love.
