I have been lurking for awhile...Don't post too much anywhere...

Anyway, my name is Bill..I live in Meridian, Idaho. I am a machinist by trade (22yrs). At work I have had the privilege of operating a variety of CNC's such as:

3 axis CNC mills (some with 4th axis)
CNC Lathes
Surface grinders
Wire EDM
Stereo Lithography
and a host of manual machines.

Currently, I am attending college so that I can get the piece of paper that says I am a mechanical engineer. I have a few years left to go ;-)

Over the last two years, I have been collecting and or building a variety of machines for making my own knives! When I get some free time..always tell myself this...

two things I like right away.
You are a machinist and I respect that trade as I really like metal working. You are going back to college after 22 years and getting a degree to better yourself. That's cool.
