Hello,

I started getting interested in knife making in 2011 when I found the plans for the NWG. Since then I have finished my NWG and set up a small area in the garage to work on making a knife. I hope to post pictures of my NWG build as well as the progress on the knives I am building. Currently my tools are a Milwaukee cut off saw, Harbor Freight band saw and small drill press, 1.5 hp NWG, vice, and a bunch of hand tools. I really appreciate all the members that have posted and the truly helpful information on this site. I look forward to a lot of feed back and helping other where I can.

just missed you. I moved from Green Bay a short while ago. Go to the janesville show. It is small enough to where the makers can give you a lot of face time and answer any questions you may have. A great bunch of guys will be there.
 
Thanks, Its great to know that there are some knifemakers close by. I will try and check out the show. I assume the show you are talking about is the Northern Lakes Show Oct 3rd and 4th.
 
Welcome to the dog pound, nice to see another cheese head knife maker. Both Janesville shows(spring and fall) are noteworthy events to attend, plenty to see and lots of talented people in the room. Good place to pick up supplies and knowledge.
