G10 Scales on Lost Grind

I lost the grind (previous thread) but I persevered and did a full flat grind. I really like the way this one turned out, not what I had planned but went with the flow. I put oil on the G10. First time working with this material and I'll probably get some more.

Part of the knife making experience is fixing all those little problems that pop up during a build. This knife is a great example.

Looks good.

I think it is true of all crafts in that, the master craftsman is not someone who never gets anything wrong, but someone who is able to turn a mis step into a new direction and make it as convncing as if it was the plan all along. That knife certainy looks as if it was planed as it has been finished and planned very nicely indeed.

I have always said, the true mark of a craftsman is one who is able to take that uh-oh, look like it was entirely intentional!!!

See if you had not told on yourself no one would have even known. You are doing well Opaul!!
