KNIFE MAKER
Much of my knifemaking has been the result of the membership on the Africa Hunting forum and this morning I posted this on my main forum thread
I am very grateful to the members of the forum who have allowed me to indulge in my knifemaking hobby/addiction as it has gone from making the odd knife for myself over the years to where it is now, with it being what I do in the shed most days. As my design range has widened so has the material I have learned to use with some beautiful wood, bone and horn and also the different steels that this has bought to the bench.
I have now got to the stage a forum member has n taken on the role as my US agent and have added this to the contacts page on my website.

We were talking the other day and Tony asked me what the most popular design was and that prompted me to go through the order book and I was surprised (sort of) at what the numbers showed. The first knife sold was in April 2017 and till the end of the year there were 55 knives that were shipped off and for all of 2018 another 121 left the shed for the US, AU, UK, SA and Canada with just 4 staying here in NZ.
Of those 176 knives the most often ordered by far has been the hunter skinner with 27 done (I did do a group buy for this knife on another forum though so that might have skewed the numbers in its favour with 11 from that buy.

I am looking forward to what 2019 brings as the exposure to my knives continues to grow but the Africa Hunting forum members have been, and will continue to be, my first priority.
