Since this post will probably get ignored anyway...I just dont like that hump on the back of the spyderco spine. I dont know why, but it bugs me.
Wow...see how much better you feel when you drop 2 cents in the bucket.

At one time I agreed with you Eric. But since then I've owned 2 spiders and I believe they put the hump there so they can use the large hole as an aide in opening the blade in lieu of a thumb stud. It took me a while to get use to the look, but I like 'em "okay" now.

I like Humps!
It is also a great way to have a thumb ramp for purchase. Most of my knives have humps and I don't even make folders.
