I'm finishing my first slip joint and wanted some input on pins ,the pivot and rear bolster pins I know to peen , my question is in reference to the handle pins should they be peened , spun or epoxied and sanded. Just looking for preferences.

I have only made a few, but have done them both ways. When using bone I spin the pins. When using wood I will countersink the hole, peen and then grind/sand the pin flush with the handle material.
