First friction folder (Im hooked!)

Finished this one yesterday. I made it using stuff laying around the shop. The Chicago bolt pivot is the only thing I didnt like using. I enjoyed making this and decided to make some for Christmas presents this year so I ordered the right stuff from Bossdog.
Im going to tuffcoat black the blades on the next ones and put a hole in the blade to assist opening.
1095 steel
Black and green g10 scales.

Looks good! What's wrong with the Chicago bolt pivot? I might make a few of these for Christmas gifts. I think they're more fun than fixed blades.

I just dont like how big the head is on the Chicago bolt. Its fuctioning ok though. These are fun to make and I have lots of ideas for these knives.
