Finished this 8" utility knife yesterday

Glacier: 8" OAL, 3.5" x 1/8 etched blade. 01 tool steel (57-59 HRC). Bead blast black G10, loveless bolts, flared stainless tube.

Clean as always! Since you've been a Scandi maker for some time, I had a question about balance - do you leave it tip heavy or do you relieve the tang to move the center back? I'm making a couple scandis right now, and I'm trying to figure out if I like it tip heavy or more balanced.

Love the flared tubing!
 
I am a relative newcomer to knife making. G10 is pretty dense material so the balance point is just aft of the finger radius. Thanks for your comment.
