When gluing on the handle material how do you keep the adhesive off the threads for the finial nut , grease? I tried to clean the threads the best I could but next time I will try a coat of grease.
 
Vaseline is what I have read works well. Wax is another idea. I am sure the wise an more experienced makers will chime in later.
 
Yep, grease, oil, & wax will all work. Brownells even sells a release agent for Acraglas to apply to gun barrels when bedding gunstocks. I'm reasonably sure it would work with pretty much any epoxy.
