Does anyone have a good fillet knife template they are willing to share? If you wish to remain anonymous to the open forum just PM me and I will keep it private. Thanks.

Yeah, I do. How do you want to proceed? Snail mail, email photos and measurements? Name it and I 'll try to accommodate ya.

If you do not have a dxf or PDF then pictures and measurements will work. I will re-create it in Q-CAD. Thanks. You can email it to redeemerforge@gmail.com
Okey dokey. Pictures and measurements it is. Remember, you are talkin to a Neanderthal when it comes to technology. For crying out loud, I still use files for knife making and cook and heat with wood !I
I'll send you pics of the one my wife's family has had for over 50 years and it's a dandy ! Also pics of the one on my bench.

Perfect!

Bruce, once Chris gets the fillet pattern in Q-CAD would you mind him sharing with rest of us?

not at all, please feel free. i'll answer any questions that any one has, too. That being said - on with the picsDSC01780.JPGDSC01781.JPGDSC01780.JPGDSC01781.JPGblade thickness on the original is .046" widening to .075" at tang tip, and is a gradual increase. On my copy, thickness is .016 @tip widening to .057" @ top of tang. copy is 26C3
Any other questions? I can retake these pics if they are not good enough.
