Expanding from my slipjoint beginnings

My name is Bill and I have been collecting slip joints for most my life - they just facinate me that someone years ago came up with the idea on how a simple backspring would work to keep a blade in place! However, I have recently been admiring the different knife designs and broading my horizon with different styles of knives. Moving toward some of the fixed blade designs like Broadwell and Luckett and most recently the truly different style of Balisongs - like a kid in a candy store I find myself back 30 + years ago with new enthusiam and exitement like I had at the start of my collecting days! Honestly - I am simply amazed at the creativity, artistic design, functionality, and materials developement that folks have contributed to the knife world - that being said I will always be dollar poor but knife rich - even if I just have to look at their pictures!
 
Welcome to KD Bsromo- sounds like you're a serious collector and this is a good place to collect! Lots of slipjoint builders and fans here so get out the checkbook...
