That depends on a lot! Depth of etch - care of the stencil between etches - and not all stencils are create dequal. Likely something between 10 - 50. Much less for the "wax-like" impact stencils.

Agree . I get 40 to 50 per stencil. Most of the time I am doing ten at a time. I use soapy water to dunk and wipe the stencil in between each knife then pat dry. I use a blue stencil. Just seems like they last a long time to me.

Quality and care are the two keys. The best stencil that I have used comes from: http://www.erniesknives.com/knifemaker_stencil.html. I clean my stencils immediately after use with AMC Cleaner, and have had several of them reach the 50 use range.

Electro Chemical Etching,Electrochemical Marking,Marking Machines

Care and cleaning is important. The place with the "BEST DEAL!" on the personalizer Plus Etching Machine is www.jantzsupply.com It comes with everything you need except your stencil.
