Double blade trapper My first multiple blade slipjoint as well as my first successful shield inlay. Twist pattern damasteel blades, Nitro-v springs. Stainless bolsters and liners with end grain mammoth ivory scales, stainless steel wing shield. Thanks for looking, please let me know what you think.

Very nice

I like that a lot. I've got a bit of end grain mammoth I've been planning to use. I do have a question on your screws. Is the pivot tension adjusted with the screw? Will the total knife take down by removing those screws? good job! I've never had the nerve to try a double bladed slipjoint. One blade's enough for me {g}

Thanks @KenH , to answer your questions, yes the knife can be taken apart by removing the screws but I used red loctite on them all so it would take some heat to free them.
Like a friction folder the pivot screw can adjust how it operates for sure. I tighten it down untill the blades start to bind then back it off just untill the blades move freely. I wouldn't say however that the screw will adjust the pivot tension as besides the friction of the blades being squeezed by the liners the tension is determined by the preload of the spring....

That is simple and elegant. Sometimes we try to bring too many different elements into the one knife. Very special job.
Question: What is the process to put a shield into the handle? Always been reluctant to try.
