I have already contacted him via email. I havnt gotten a resonce yet but it has only been one day. I just want to know so I could continue thinking up Ideas if it wasnt possible.

I am a graphic artist and I have designed several makers marks and tens of thousands of tattoos. Your crest, converted to a solid color and reduced to an inch in height, which is probably way too tall unless you are just making machetes, swords, and Bowies, is already illegible. The design would have to be drastically simplified.

Even just going with your last name and adding the hand, a lot of the interior lines in the hand would not show. The lion is worse because of the detail.

Feel free to PM me if you have questions.

That would look great on a t-shirt or business card, but I'm afraid it will too be "busy" and hard to see if you shrink it down small enough to fit on a blade. Perhaps just your name in that font for your maker's mark? With your location in smaller, simpler letters under it?

EDIT: yeah, what Rock said  I was hoping he'd chime in, cuz he actually knows what he's doing.

I would just use you name. then you can have Rock or someone else design you some stuff for your website, shirts, patches, or whatever you want.

To big with to much detail . I have a hard time with my stamp on certain things . My etching mark is good but I think Ernie G will tell you too much detail .
