Christmas shows with the Grandboys

Been doing Poppop duty tonight.The wife and I got our two of our Grandsons, while there folks go to a Christmas party. They are three and five,they can keep us hoping but I wouldn't have it any other way.

We just finished watching Rudolph and now it's Frosty the Snowman. Gee I don't think that they have changed any of those since I was a kid, and that has been a while.:biggrin: During Rudolph the snowman (Burl Ives), the audio got to jumping. I laughed and told the wife the tape had gotten so old it skips, Oh well! Actually Frosty the Snowman is an updated version from what I remember!

I haven't watched these since our kids were little. Then again who can say no to these two! Here is a pic from Halloween this year. These are my boys trying to raise them right you know! Told there Mama and Daddy I was gonna have them out hunting with me before long. Boy that drew a few funny looks. Oh,they ought to know by now Poppop is a man of his word, as long as my health holds next year they are going with Poppop to the woods!

Oh I forgot the best part I told them if they were good for their baths they could have a snack. So after baths they both told me they wanted "Christmas Milk " :what!::biggrin: (that is their name for eggnog) and cookies! So they are enjoying that right now! If I would have known Grandkids were so much fun I would have skipped the kids!!!!!!!!!!:3::biggrin::lol:

There are nothing better than grandkids. A grandparents duty is to spoil them...and then send them home. Yes, ice cream is OK for breakfast, it's dairy. :)

We have a tradition of going to a special light show every year. Last week end we had our grandchildren ( 5 & 9) sleep over. Went to the light show, out to dinner, and they helped decorate the tree. Sunday we got up and went to Dunkin Donuts (another tradition when they sleep over) and then came home and decorated x-mas cookies. Life is good...Teddy
