Boot knife sheath clip

I'm looking to do a leather sheath for this knife with a small clip like a boot knife, and I'm wondering if anybody has a good tutorial to reference? I have a pretty good idea on how to do it, but I haven't used that style of clip on a sheath before. thanks,

Is that just a small cutlery rivet at the bottom holding it in? Or is it a Chicago screw?

Had some challenges keeping the holes straight on the stitching, but I learned a lot. Turned out a very useable sheath for this little guy.

I have made 4 now and each one has gotten better.

Second one went much smoother, aside from the finger print of edgekote.

My wife got me a good book awhile back: Making Leather Knife Sheaths by David Holter and Peter Fonteddu. It goes through the process of building a clip into a sheath in one of the projects.
